Microdermabrasion

This procedure is used to exfoliate the skin, the instrument used resembles a “butter knife”. This treatment can very effectively exfoliate dead skin cells and can also intensify your results prior to a chemical peel. The added benefit: removes unwanted facial hair without the pain and irritation of facial waxing or depilatories.

Chemical Peels

There are many different types of acids used when performing a chemical peel. Not every chemical peel will make your skin peel. All chemical peels will improve the texture of your skin, even out skin tone (color) and help to improve the appearance of wrinkles. Some peels will also improve current acne lesions as well as improving scars from acne. All peels work best when performed in a series of treatments, consistency is key! Please be advised to discontinue the use of any topical skin medications five days prior to having a peel. We offer the following peels:

Pigment Balancing Masque

This is an exciting new peel/mask that can help to improve pigmented skin which will also tighten and firm your skin's texture!  It combines high-performance brightening and anti-inflammatory agents with a peeling solution to accelerate cell renewal, soften skin and diminish uneven skin tone. Best results are seen after a series of 4-6 treatments.  Excellent for patients with Melasma, age spots, acne related discolorations and hyperpigmentation.

Vitalize Peel®

This peel is safe for all skin types. Great for anyone who wants to improve their past sun-damaged skin. Patients with acne, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring or general poor skin quality will see the most benefit with this peel. You will experience a few days of light peeling.

Rejuvenize Peel™

This is a step up from the Vitalize Peel,  the same acids are used in a higher formulation. 

Illuminize Peel™

This peel is excellent for the patient that has never experienced a chemical peel. Also great for Rosacea, sensitive skin or for anyone who desires more luminous looking skin. Gives the results of great hydration and mild exfoliation without peeling.

Glycolic/Latic Peels with Dermaplaning

This peel combines a chemical peeling agent with Dermaplaning. The Dermaplaning removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells as well as the hair on the face; the peeling agent is then applied. The double exfoliating action of this peel makes your skin feel like silk!

TCA 30% (Trichloroacetic acid)

The best peel for extreme sun damage, wrinkles, Melasma and scars. This peel dissolves the first few layers of skin to reveal the new skin underneath. You will experience about a week of heavy peeling.

Laser Treatments

We offer laser treatments with the CYNOSURE ELITE™ and the ALMA HARMONY XL.

Laser Hair Removal

The Cynosure device emits a laser light to a group of hair follicles with enough energy to destroy the root, but not enough power to harm the surrounding skin. This process is called selective photothermolysis. It is selective because it targets only the hair and not the skin. “Photo” means light and “thermolysis” means destroying with heat. The surrounding skin is cooled simultaneously with a cooling device. Most patients need at least six or more treatments for significant hair reduction. Our laser is safe on all skin types.

Vein Removal

The 1064 wavelength is a direct beam of light that is attracted to the Hemoglobin in the vessel. The vein coagulates and is then slowly absorbed by the body and diminishes over a few weeks time period. Results can sometimes be seen immediately or within three to four weeks. Some patients need to have several treatments depending on the amount of vessels in a particular area. The treatments need to be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

PIXEL PERFECT is an aesthetic laser treatment that lifts away years from your face.  This new technology stimulates new collagen formation to improve your skin's texture and tone.  Pixel works by creating thousands of microscopic perforations, but the skin around each of these perforations remains intact. This allows your skin's top layer to heal very rapidly.  This treatment works best on patients with sun damage, fine line and wrinkles, and acne scarring.

Intensed Pulsed Light/ AFT Treatments

This laser procedure is designed for patients with vascular and pigmented lesions.  AFT's selective pulsed light energy is precisely absorbed by the target areas, without damaging healthy skin.  Selectively heating and closing off blood vessels, AFT pulsed light reduces the lesions, while sparing nearby tissue from injury.  With pigmented lesions, the light energy heats the melanin in the lesion and causes it to fragment.  The melanin fragments are then absorbed by the body and eliminated.

Pigmented Lesions

The 755 Alexandrite laser wavelength works on removing or lighting pigmented skin lesions, or “age spots”, most of these discolorations are caused from prolonged sun exposure. The laser light is designed for its properties that selectively target dark concentrations of melanin (pigment). The lesion treated will turn a darker color for a few days post treatment, then will fade and flake off over a couple of weeks.
